Education is the Foundation: What Form Might China’s Education Finance Infrastructure Take? What About the US Experience?

Abstract: This Article reviews the experience of the author related to the US finance infrastructure designed to attract and form capital to support loans to students so they can get a higher education and technical and skill training after high school. It offers an overview of a possible model for China to consider the next steps in designing an education finance infrastructure to support its students.
